![]() ![]() ![]() I really loved the first two books in this series especially the first one and though this didn’t quite match the enthusiasm I had there it still was a worthy contender and I enjoyed myself a great deal. This is the third book in this series and Mina and Jadar’s story, We were initially introduced to them both previously and I was excited to learn more regarding there evolving relationship. However, I will say that I liked that Jadar was more touchy feely due to his status- and kind of wish the sex scenes reflected more of that intimacy aspect.Īll in all I really liked the read and will be on the lookout for the next book! I kept waiting for the romance part of the story (but that might be because I'm impatient at times and the plot wasn't keeping me 100% invested.) ![]() So I liked this couple- but I will say the slow burn was a little bit to long for me. With tensions running high, and time running out Mina and Jadar are slowly making progress (both scientifically and romantically) but will their efforts be enough to save the Askari that were left behind in the previous war? ![]() While both races are setting up the new ships and preparing for war- there is a lot of chaos going on.Īlso, the other chosen humans have not been able to harness the power of their new suits and its up to our leads to figure out why, and to maybe experiment on their own. Mina Perez, and her counter part Askari- Jadar. ![]()
